In June, Blue Ridge Public Safety Chief Roy Taylor was honored as a Paul Harris Fellow by the Rotary Club of Cashiers Valley. The Paul Harris Fellow recognition acknowledges individuals who contribute, or who have contributions made in their name, to The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International. Chief Taylor has been an active member of the Cashiers Rotary for the past three years, and both he and Blue Ridge Public Safety participate in a number of service projects in the community.
